The BEST Golf Value in the state of Wisconsin!!!
During the 2010 golf season The Hackers Guide reviewed 161 public golf courses in the state of Wisconsin, giving each course a number grade in five different categories. We are happy to announce that Whispering Springs Golf Club was awarded the very BEST golf value in the state!! Not only were we deemed the best value in the state, Whispering Springs also placed as the fourth best course overall (This overall ranking is determined by the courses’ ratings in all five categories).
This ranking system that the Hackers Guide organization used, has been applied to 458 courses across six states in the upper Midwest. To say the least, The Hackers Guide has been around the block.
While Whispering Springs is excited to receive such high marks by the Hackers Guide for value, it doesn’t come as a huge surprise. At Whispering Springs, we strive to deliver an immaculate course with tournament quality conditions at an affordable rate. We believe that with our picturesque natural landscape, bentgrass from tee to green, hard working grounds crew, beautiful new facilities, and our astonishingly low rates, we deliver exactly what we’re aiming for. We view the rankings by The Hackers Guide as our hard work’s recognition.
Our core philosophy is this: golf shouldn’t be a game that can only be enjoyed by people who can afford inflated rates. We want to deliver the game of golf to every individual who has an interest and desire to play. We are a full service public club featuring a pro shop, locker rooms, Trep’s TRAP Bar & Grill, and a state of the art banquet facility located in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin on HWY 23 (the east side of town). The clubhouse is newly renovated in 2009 to showcase the afore mentioned breathtaking views. Our course is set on a wooded ledge overlooking the city of Fond du Lac, which displays some of the more beautiful sunsets a Wisconsin golf course has to offer. The layout has artfully woven an interesting array of golf holes through the property’s natural diverse mix of hardwood forest and meadowlands. Our newly renovated bunkers are scattered throughout the course in carefully picked locations.
